Please join us for a fun, chef-driven, casual evening affair to benefit Civil Eats, a daily news source for critical thought about the American food system, and the James Beard Foundation’s 2014 Publication of the Year.
Guests will be treated to bites from some of the Bay Area's best restaurants in this walk-around tasting event, accompanied by local wine, beer, and spirits.
Civil Eats' advisory board member Chef Alice Waters and many other food movement movers and shakers will be in attendance.
Our tiny team of writers and editors work hard to bring a diverse array of perspectives to the forefront while shining a light on the food system stories that matter most. In a media landscape that often rewards entertainment over critical thinking, we count on your support to help us continue to do the work we do!
Civil Eats is a non-profit, independent media site. We’ve never taken advertising and rely on our subscription service, independent donations, and foundation grants to pay our writers and editors. We are hoping this first ever in-person event will help us raise enough money to continue our award-winning reporting.
If you aren't able to attend in person, please consider making a donation via the eventbrite link. The Civil Eats team thanks you!
